Join us for a discussion with ABC’s Chief Meteorologist, Chris Hohmann and Dr. Ryan Boyles from the State Climate Office to discuss the history of North Carolina hurricanes, what role they play in our ecosystem and whether or not hurricane intervention is a wise choice.

Intellectual Property Symposium

N.C. Biotechnology Center

Half-day symposium on intellectual property in the life sciences. Presentations and panel discussions will focus on the basics of IP (particularly patents), freedom-to-operate, infringement and strategic IP protection. The session will conclude with a case study by Advanced Liquid Logic on crafting an IP estate.

400 Dominion Drive, Morrisville
A local group of engineers and designers is putting on this outdoor networking and educational event to showcase leading Triangle-area product designers and affiliated professionals. Barbeque, drinks, popcorn, snacks and other treats will be served throughout this family-friendly event, which will include an inflatable kids’ play area and plenty of shaded space for business networking among peers.
